Editing homepage text content from Joomla files on server - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hi, absolute beginner's question didn't find answers tutorials etc:
i have homepage installed third person using joomla, , have access joomla file/folder structure on server. want make small updates site, i.e. change simple text. files/folders need find in joomla folder structure this?
i.e. let's have site, domain.com, , 2 pages under it, domain.com/link1 , domain.com/link2, , 'link2' has text "hello world" on big font. find in joomla folder structure -- libraries/components/modules etc.? somewhere in root or under administrator subfolder?
i know it's stupid question in advance!

it's not stupid question if don't know answer, , that's we're here for.
joomla's content not (largely) contained in files, rather contained in rows in database table.
most if not content can edited directly in administrator interface under:
content, article manager.
other content can found under:
extensions, module manager
by editing modules called "custom html"
