First Update since purchasing CS6 Master 2 days ago

i downloaded cs6 master collection couple days ago, in "windows" sense seemed work fine. updated 30 minutes ago & y photoshop unusable. upon launch freezes. have force quit. 1 thing noticed, each time launch, in second of launch animation, window pops asking if want participate in adobe update feedback, in flash covered frozen canvas. denied feedback or "allow adobe gather info system" option upon installing update. apparently persistent request. updater says date now, means have uninstall/reinstall entire cs collection & never update again. anyone?

 

another question, migrated on mac. on mac, image files or without extensions, images saved in formats 10+ years ago, can opened on mac using photoshop without issue unless file corrupted. however, easy open "on mac" file - old tiffs, jpegs & non-extension files/images not being recognized windows 7, photoshop. fixes can these files work on pc? don't have time go thru entire stock library & resave files psds.

if know tiffs or jpgs, rename files using batch command 1 in bridge or lightroom. should find quite few free apps can @ header of file , tell format file is. thought photoshop able open file header, wrong.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
