Stuck Rendering

hello all,

i'm new here , need illustrator.

 

i designing 2d vector file installed text strokes. wanted text curve bit, tried revolve 3d effect. notification popped saying hadn't enough ram. clicked ok, , art became black , white lines. kept getting error popup (i don't remember said) no end had close , re-open illustrator. opened same saved art file, "rendering artwork" , crash. after waiting 1-2 hours, opened (appearing correct, before), change make, rendering artwork window again , crash.

 

i'm running lenovo x61 laptop 32-bit windows vista.

 

 

can please me? i'm trying enter artwork contest ends in mid september , need week design art, if can appreciate it!

fist have read illustrator before use , need o understand how works.

 

you should @ tutorials undesrand things 3d. criticism of how working can fault me continue have difficulties if decide tool want without understanding how tool works,

 

apply revolve to  text string bit extreme , definitley not have resources on computer if accidentally , file maybe corrupt.

 

you can extrude text string no problem realively simple geomtery revolve extrude going make each letter attempt become volume , @ same time try turn string volume well,in other words cannot do.

 

ok can do. if start on , and think out doing when decide going not know how do, research it, perhaps come forum help.

 

find tool shat accomplish wish not trust instincts, abook folow turorial take lessons.

 

if wna try , recover file can try open file selecct text working on selection tool go appearance panel , flyout select reduce basic appearance.

 

then flyout of appearance panel select new art has basic apparance.

 

the save , overwrite file. close documet. open again , save again overwriting file , close it. open itone more time , agian. open , see if can work on in usual way.

 

now own benefit might not tkae advvice in of if decide wah outlined above has option decide ok. thes uff appeearance panel actual see happen if did not liste , work on file anyway.

 

it might work out afer while if not have start over, save trouble , start over.
