Thread: 5:4 ratio needed for proper display

i need xorg in 9.10 in 5:4 ratio display properly. 1 know how can this. can not update 10.04 because frozen screen activity indicator stuck in upper left corner. appreciated.

with fresh install using kernel install have working install of 10.04.
