Thread: Expresscard-serial works in Win7 not in Ubuntu

hi, have bought startech 1 port native expresscard-serial adapter, works fine in win7 installed drivers no issues , got work plotter.

thought virtually al laptops come expresscard/pcm... slot should plug , play, unfortunately startech not have linux drivers.

when type setserial -g /dev/ttys[0123]

i went add printer wizard , first time serial port showed /dev/ttys4 ( thought goes 3) selected serial port option , installed did not work.
