Thread: Scrolling background window without changing focus

i able scroll background window, without bringing focus. able in os x, can't seem in xubuntu.

i'm aware of window focus settings in xubuntu's menu, these don't quite want. prevent rear window coming forward, scrolling in window still gives focus, prevents entry forward window.

know of way change this?

if understand correctly, can accomplished going settings->window manager tweaks->accessiblity tab , unselecting "raise windows when mouse button pressed". mind you, i'm scrolling window using mouse wheel.
