Thread: SSH/SCP File Transfer Logging

i have searched these forums , others ability. references few years ago nothing solid can make out of them. still cannot figure out how see files transferred users on scp. there patch saw apply , enable logging rather outdated. got simple can turn on. instance turning log levels or something...

, quick haters, know adding scp logging wouldn't suffice capture events if new doing. example: cat file , pipe output on ssh. users not advanced , of no concern me.

call out ssh/scp gurus..give me solution know right in front of face!!

i think answered own question already.

openssh 5.3 (the version in repos) supports logging of scp/sftp. yes turning logging work fine seem want do.

believe patch referring disables them using terminal , if mean scponly shell.
missing here? wanting see more files being transferred?
