Thread: Ubuntu won't boot, and I need to recover some important files. :(


hello there y'all,

i've been checking threads around here , trying of recommended stuff, nothing worked, hope guys can me out, since i'm kind of desperate i'm trying recover important files work due next monday.

updated system last night before going bed , turned laptop off, , when tried boot again morning, wouldn't boot. says following:

i hope guys can me out problem. thank in advance!

from live cd, mount linux partition

code:
sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt
and post contents of /mnt/etc/fstab. should able files /mnt in case need reinstall.
