Thread: WiFi on ThinkPad X220 with 11.04


i've installed ubuntu 11.04 64-bit on new thinkpad x220, which, believe, "ubuntu certified."

have no major complaints except wifi (which worked out of box, no fiddling necessary) extremely unstable, disconnecting me network i'm on every few minutes. when connected, connection slow, when have great signal, , on networks have used 0 problems on other machines.

i'm 99% sure hardware/driver issue, have no experience in solving such issues. there driver can try? how can install it?

lspci gives me following wifi:
03:00.0 network controller: realtek semiconductor co., ltd. rtl8188ce 802.11b/g/n wifi adapter (rev 01)
