How to read flashinstall.log


hello, cannot figure out why fflashplayerplugin_11_3_300_271 not able apply silent autoupdate version 11.4.402.265

 

i deployed version 11.3.300.271 way.

 

:adobeflashplayer

our mms.cfg file (saved in utf-8 format)

autoupdateinterval=0 ( autoupdate suppose check updates everytime flash used)

silentautoupdateenable=1

silentautoupdateverboselogging=1

 

the taskschd.msc shows , flash update task when run the

the flashinstall.log has following entries :

i have not found documentation regarding these codes mean.

a systinternals procmon trace not show flashplayerupdateservice.exe generating network traffic when it's running ( start tasksch or manualy start of adobe flash update service.)

 

any suggestions appreciated

hi naim,

to deploy 11.4 via silent auto update, you'll need setup server internally.  please see our 11.4 admin guide (page 19) details.  in addition, i'd recommend reading blog post.
