Hyperlinks - how to create a hot spot link?
i link new page button @ footer area only.
this not have main menu level link.
so add page in site plan?
would add page 2nd tier , hide name?
also how 'call' hyperlink?
another scenario:
there doesn't seem way create hotspot on part of image link background image. - , text or image/box sits in footer area on master page(not in background) moves around when there concertina panel pushes down.
hi,
you can add page as top level page. when you're creating in plan mode, right-click page thumbail , click menu options -> exclude page menus. make page not appear in main level menu link. can call hyperlink selecting object want have hyperlink clicking drop down in control strip says enter link. select page link to.
as footer link, suggest using real text , applying hyperlink selecting text frame , typing in link. if still want use hotspot, can create rectangle on area link. edit rectangle have no stroke , 1% opaque (probably white) fill, able use link feature area. biggest worry creating hot spot may not line correctly in browsers page reflows, , depending on rectangle's fill link may not work in ie.
thanks,
dana
