Thread: Can't connect ubuntu 11.04 to ad hoc connection !

hi..

i've installed ubuntu 11.04 on samsung n150 plus netbook .. (installed inside preinstalled win 7) ..

have another laptop (acer) running win7 home premium internet connection 3g modem.. sharing of internet through wireless lan ad hoc connection ...

in the samsung when booting in win7 connects ad hoc conn without problem , having internet in samsung thru sharing... but when boot ubuntu never connect ad hoc... see network , try connect (the connection icon remain flashing) asks wep key , after few seconds asks again key , never conntect !!...

tried remove security key ad hoc ,but again didnt connect...

?

p.s. : - new linux

-before creating subject i've googled , searched in forum , couldnt find solution

thanx in advance suggestion

please...any suggestions

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
