i'm using natty 64-bit , i'm trying usb-live2 capture device work. i've searched around can't find works. here's info after plug in device.

devices /dev/video1 , /dev/vbi0 created, not removed when device unplugged.

none of indicator lights on. in windows, blue light comes on when plugged in , green light comes on when capturing.

i've tried accessing device using vlc, mplayer/mencoder, tvtime, kdenlive, , guvcview. vlc says can't access /dev/video1, mplayer shows green screen , says "v4l2: select timeout", kdenlive hangs @ "initializing" , guvcview shows black screen. i'm stumped, ideas?

sorry, don't think works current version of ubuntu, it's being worked on (see last comments in following link, http://www.kernellabs.com/blog/?p=1445).

if want work can try ubuntu 10.04, apparently works people. haven't tried ubuntu 10.04.
