tried things post: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1743535
thought i'd solved problem editing /etc/default/grub , uncommenting gfxmode=680x480. computer started normally. (i tried wireless going....)
finally, shut down , tried restart. computer wouldn't boot @ all. not in recovery mode. gave after 7 or 8 attempts. using knoppix live cd write this...
when try startup in recovery mode, computer hangs @ line:
eth0: no ipv6 routers present
or @ line:
type=1400 ..... apparmor="status" operation="profile_load" name="usr/sbin/cupsd" pid=781 comm="apparmor_parser"
driving me nuts. laptop won't start isn't good. if can help, i'd appreciate it.
