use ubuntu 11.04 , discovered in network router log these lines below.

concerns "dns_hijack", access internet working well.
router hijacked?!?!

ever click home , instead of finding google, ubuntuforums, etc. see greeting or sign-in page isp? that's common form of dns hijack. if feature not used isp, feature appears built in , not quite configured correctly.
