Thread: Wine Installation Error

i tried install wine software center, followed instructions, added needed added, yadda yadda yadda. find through google , these forums needs done done. got halfway through installation, error message popped saying "failed download package files" , told me check internet connection, though i'm on internet right now. text in error message.

tried install via terminal, instructed of other threads i've seen. these errors received near end of text.

e: unable fetch archives, maybe run apt-get update or try --fix-missing?

1 point i'd make, (in admittedly naive , uneducated opinion) may have it, i'm test running moon linux, haven't installed it. installation @ standstill @ "getting time network server", i'm stuck on "who you?" phase of installation. if kind enough help, please keep in mind i'm incredibly ignorant when comes linux, if could, start top in feedback or support you'll giving.

can post here: cat /etc/apt/sources.list

, might use instead: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-wine/+archive/ppa

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
