Contact Form not working - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

dear all,

i'm new joomla, created web joomla 2.5.8

since there function called contact form, , tried follow step setup, when test function , submit form, i've got following reply:

following mail setting:
mailer: smtp
from email: enquiry@mydomain.com
from name: site name
sendmail path: /usr/sbin/sendmail
smtp authentication: yes
smtp security: ssl
smtp port *: 465
smtp username: enquiry@mydomain.com
smtp password: xxxxxxxx
smtp host: eml-1.sitecname.com

note: email under gmail server, tried usign "smtp.gmail.com smtp host, still pop same error.

please kindly if know how fix problem.
