Creating custom Layer Streams with AEGP

hi! want aegp store hidden data each layer in comp , understand how add , modify streams effects. correct way create hidden streams layer using aegp? there way besides hidden stream add custom flags layers?

well, there streams can add layer, these specific streams.

this group of streams referred dynamic streams.

strokes paint tool , text animators such streams.

i think can make them hidden, doubt of these solve problem of associating data layer.

 

arbitrary data can added layer.

you can put effect on layer , keep data there, or write data text layer comments, or... write data layer marker comments... or... have no more ideas how keep data layer.

 

alternatively, can keep data layers @ other place, such aegp itself.

 

in general, there 2 ways of looking @ problem.

1. data needs keep across sessions.

2. data temporary , can regenerated if needed.

 

case 1 problematic.

for case 2, i'd go keeping data aegp.

just keep each layer's id, , it's comp's project item id, identify each layer's saved data.
