If you're having problems making an extension for Photoshop CS6 with Configurator 3..

i going ask here, before posting decided try 1 last experiment see if work. yesterday tried making simple 1 button panel inside configurator , exporting photoshop cs6. put in plugins\panels directory. start photoshop, nothing... tried looking @ how create extension manually , signing in order install extension manager, , brain melted.

 

so today tried installing older version of photoshop (cs 5.5). difference selected photoshop cs5/cs5.5 in create new panel dialog in configurator instead of cs6. export panel..it worked! tried same thing install of photoshop cs6, selecting photoshop cs5/cs5.5 as before in configurator's dropdown menu.  success!

 

i hope helps stuck in same place me.

hmm, okay had problem. used swf hue strip made in actionscript inside swf loader in configurator. tried exporting ps cs6's panels folder, , surprise complete broke of other extensions in folder. (ie. photoshop refused load other non-defualt extenstions @ because 1 borked.). very stupid.  went ps cs5, working perfectly. closed , went ps cs6, , test panel working again. have no idea why ps cs5 "fixed" ps cs6, doesn't make sense really.  think i'll going cs5 work cs6 buggy extensions, , need color wheel painting.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
