More users using the same e-mail - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i need have more users using same e-mail.
it seems me, when every new user gets own uniq id number there should no problems. when try registrate second username using same e-mail - told not able to, while e-mail allready used.
the situation is, customers employees not have individual e-mails. because of customer has administrator, recieve e-mails , distribute them afterwards employees.
can change situation?

yep.
the power of joomla lies in extendability , enhancement via plugin architecture. right have authentication problem, means authentication plugin firing , not letting this. once authentication passes, moves on creating user account or logging user in if exists believe.
depending on skill level might tough....check jed authentication plugins might provide functionality need....might not though because bit of strange one. otherwise can copy out authentication plugin, disable original one, , modify copy allow happen...but requires technical skills.
firstly though go user manager , check out options, enlighten various options have regarding users right now. go plugin manager , check out configurable options (if any) on authentication , user plugins sure.
i don't believe issue supported out of box, doable. think majority of rely or expect unique emails avoid duplicate profiles/accounts, keep password reset functioning....so might have rare case on hands.
one thing problem though password reset sure, joomla provides functionality break thing might have fix or disable making bit of bigger problem...
why not provide individual emails employees? might easier, less time consuming, cheaper, , not requiring maintaining. emails cheap, free 5 accounts google business ($$$ more not much), , if have vps or dedicated can run own mail server free many accounts , space want/have
...this of course @yourdomain otherwise can use many free email providers @hotmail, @gmail, etc.
