New Installation - Article images not displaying - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

this 1st time i've installed package, new install of joomla! 3.0.2 stable.

i created test article, added image , displayed fine, added text, fine.
saved article, , clicked on new article link....

text displayed fine, images didn't appear. alt text showed \"test\" , whenever tried editing article image no longer appeared , upon editing image , saving, many more /" added. e.g: \"\\"test\\"\"

when viewing properties of image link show as:
http://mydomain.co.uk/joomla/index.php/ ... c%22%5c%22

i'm confused happening....should happening on default installation of package? other packages vbulletin working fine no problems.

i have hotlink protection off has caused problems before.

it's strange can create article, insert image, looks great, save , it's not displayed anymore either in article or edit article page..

what's going wrong?

requirements joomla 3.x
php (magic quotes gpc off)

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
