i programmed set of quizzes in director 8.0 1 of courses ten years ago , have been updating them since. and, yes, did purchased 11.5, can't use because can't use printing w pom or number of other extras anymore. semester start , adobe has updated shockwave player in windows on summer (i think?) causing quizzes not work in web browser. getting message , can't figure out causing it:

i have been working on day , half , stumped. made 2 apps in 11.5 windows .exe , mac .app partially work, can't quizzes work in firefox 13 or ie 9. searched web , not find useful.  found message in forum in 2009 had similar problem , sean wilson said add parameter specifed player version =11, in 2009. tried param , still error. tried updating quiz menu .dcr on web 11.5, didn't work. of updates lately browsers, shockwave plug-in, , director 11.5, don't know generating error.  assuming shockwave player doesn't something, have no idea movie reference incorrect version of shockwave player referring to.  we're player 11.6 now.  have include in embed statement or there else causing error?  please help, thanks!

 

edit: oddly, quizzes still working on macbook pro using firefox 13.0.1.  don't know shockwave player version is. on windows 7 side of macbook running bootcamp, running shockwave player 11.6.4. thought maybe should uninstall , install latest 11.6.6, did. latest version of shockwave made no difference on windows 7.  tried run quizzes on hp laptop running windows vista, firefox 14.0.1 , shockwave player 11.6 installed jan 2012 accoridng control panel.  same error message.  tried using ie 8, seemed shockwave update - no problem quizzes run.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
