Thread: ADOBE instllation

hi , want install adobereader in different directory, when run installation file give following option

enter installation directory adobe reader 9.4.2 [/opt]

, when write directory name /usr/local
shows there no such directory


1 plz provide solution ,that how can install adobe reader can use browser plugin watch pdf file online

why need adobe reader? there plenty of open source alternatives out there won't cause trouble system.
in fact, have pdf reader pre-installed on ubuntu system. every ubuntu system does.
