gparted not displaying drive partition information, utterly useless me, , once (&^%$#@ again in limbo!!!
see attached screenshots.
problem searching online commands given assumption both systems identical, ie. software packages exist on helpers machine working on helpees machine, seems major bottleneck getting works.
once again had system working charm , 1 install attempt has bogged me down.
need gparted working. once works distro installs work hope. because don't recognize being installed either.

you've highlighted other things in boot script output, of not matter or not relevant. haven't gone through post fine tooth comb (it's bit overwhelming!), suggest fix partition table inconsistency fixparts , see if have residual problems.
