Thread: How to install 10.04 on 2 nd Internal Harddrive

i have 1tb harddrive windows 7 , second internal harddrive 80 gbyte empty on install ubuntu 10.04. tried install 10.04 ubuntu image disc 10.04 choice install on 80 gig.

doing wrong?

remember careful when partitioning drives.

once reach partitioner of install (at end, before hitting 'install') should able choose hdd want install ubuntu to.

since have 2 hdd's different sizes won't hard choose right disk.

drop-down menu should list 1tb disk , 80gb disk, looks this:

1tb name-of-manufacturer
80gb name-of-manufacturer

choose 80gb disk , select option 'use entire disk' unless want partition manually.

if don't have option choose 80gb disk, make sure it's connected , it's detected motherboard in bios.

edit: here's screenshot of menu , options i'm talking in post:
