Thread: Sharing internet through Ethernet port. (Ubuntu 11.04)


hello!
running ubuntu 11.04 , curious if there way share established wireless connection through ethernet port..... know possible in windows going adapters , bridging wireless, , ethernet adapters. ideas on how make work in ubuntu?

need open network connections. if remember correctly, can right clicking on network applet clock , selecting view network connections or similar. when there, should see couple of connections, 1 of wireless connection (e.g. wlan0). find ethernet connection (e.g. eth0) , click it, click edit. in new window, select ipv4 tab , change method "shared other computers." after that's done, should able reboot , connect second machine.
