Thread: Trying to install Starcraft from ISO
first of all, problem might have more wine ubuntu (i'm running 10.04, though shouldn't matter much), bear me here.
i'm trying install starcraft on machine without optical drive, using 2 isos ripped 2 discs. it's copy of 1 of later releases installs brood war @ same time starcraft , doesn't use cd check play.
i've tried using "mount -o loop" command using gmount-iso, same result. it'll allow me install half way, upon asking second disc, refuses continue. won't find it.
mount disc manually, archive mounter seems give me problems permissions, "/media/cdiso", have mapped d:\ drive in wine. i've tried mounting "scdisc1.iso", letting install halfway, unmounting , mounting scdisc2.iso in same place, reason, installer doesn't seem see disc 2 in cd-rom drive , refuses continue. i've tried mounting both discs d:\ , e:\ simultaneously, doesn't work either.
have idea how work?![]()
have tried running 2 instances of gmount-iso? before run gmount-iso, want create folder mount iso at.
