Thread: Ubuntu 11.04 Live CD not booting.

hi everyone,

not new linux scene, use centos on day day basis on server, however, start using ubuntu on full time basis, sick of how slow win7 can , of bulk. sooo, downloading ubuntu, burned it, verified it, y'know, usual.

backed needed , restarted pc. purple splash screen came , started load. after 3 minutes see distorted version of win7 desktop! unable ctrl+alt+f1 keyboard becomes unresponsive. have disabled graphics card (nvidia 240 gt (i think)) , used on board intel chipset still happens. going on? desperate use , finding frustrating.

did manage ctrl alt f1 @ 1 point , tried restart gdm errored out on me.

i hope u burned ubuntu on cd (although clear statement livecd).

happened me couple of times when burned ubuntu iso on usb-disk using linux distro's startup-disk-creator utility.

works time when burn iso usb using universal-usb-creator mentioned on ubuntu website. if burned iso on usb, can try reburn usb on windows-machine.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
