Thread: Uninstalled Ubuntu on Netbook now getting Error

i'm getting ready sell acer apsire 1 netbook. had ubuntu netbook edition on it. needed remove sell it.

went on disk manager on xp partition. deleted ubuntu partitions. ran fixmbr.exe file got site http://www.ambience.sk/fdisk-master-...ilo-fixmbr.php.

after went acer erecovery manager (since netbook doesn't have cd drive comes recovery partition) selected restore factory conditions , rebooted normal during restore. when started couldn't find boot to.
(error: no such partition. grub rescue>) error when try boot computer up.
how can booting windows xp home.

it looks grub still installed on mbr.

livecd, , assuming windows partition still has boot flag , on sda, try installing lilo , running these commands. don't run others , disregard lilo configuration messages afterward.

sudo apt-get install lilo sudo lilo -m /dev/sda mbr
this should point mbr windows installation. if boot files still intact, should return boot windows bootloader.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
