What should I upgrade next

thank everyones far.  seems computer have .little under speced wondering should consider upgrading next.  memeory, cpu , gpu may answer student need take things slowly.

 

i cuppently have following setup:

 

ga-z77-ds3h motherboard

intel i5 3550 cpu

16gb 1666 memory

550 ti gpu

 

i have odered raid0 dual drive enslosure , have 2*2tb baracuda 72000 drives.  things generaly play without dropped frames in current setup (fw800 media drive) dont think hd issue , when new enclosure more doubeling disk throughput (i editing dslr/avchsd fottage whitch has relativly low bandwidth).

 

alough not dropping frames playback not ideal.  lot of time have sync tend go out , have ot stop/start back. has led me think cpu/gpu should consider upgrading next.  cpu way under 50% makes me think gpu.  gpu used play dslr/avchd?

 

so hat people think?

being student on limited budget (at least when student) not bad. thing disk setup limiting factor. need 3 separate 7200 rpm sata drives decent editing , more better. see adobe forums: generic guideline disk setup

 

sure better cpu can help, main issue current fw800 external connection. getting external raid raises question connection use box. if less esata, again suboptimal.

PProHeadless.exe has stopped working error when opening projects in Adobe Media Encoder CS6

hi, upgraded adobe cloud cs6 , having problems adobe media encoder cs 6 (version 6.0.1.31 64-bit).   when try add adobe premiere projects in ame, gives me following error:   pproheadless.exe has stopped working   i tried rebooting, , still gives me same error.  project load, won't.   the premiere projects contain h.264 .mov file coming canon t2i.  added overlay logo bottom right of video created in adobe after effects, contains text, no effects, no motion, etc.  have .wav file recorded zoom h4n, not always.  edit in adobe audition remove noise feature.   i running on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit.  i'm using i7 16gb ram , ati 6870 video card.   i have lut buddy plugin installed.   it give me error first time try load project, , connection dynamic link server fail.  afterwards, if try load project again, if restart ame, stays stuck in connecting dynamic link server...   any provide appreciated. what happens when drag , a...
