Admin Login Loop [solved] - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

ok, @ risk of getting yelled @ because topic has been discussed ad nauseum, i'm still going post because still haven't found solution in other topics.

first, i'm noob, that's problem 1. know enough myself trouble, not out of it. gentle.
secondly: v 2.5 , godaddy hosting (i didn't know better @ time)

on domain.com/administrator when try log in, loops. no errors, nothing. loop login screen.

what i've tried:
password reset in phpmyadmin (result: woo hoo new password, still doesn't log me in.)
jos_extentions -> plg_authentication_joomla (result: yup, enabled, nope, still doesn't loop)
jos_extentions -> plg_user_joomla (result: enabled, still loops)
unzipped , tried reinstall plg_authentication_joomla database (result: error because said know enough myself trouble, not out of it. if problem, need know how upload file)

here how got problem:
i editing article , went "save , close" , wouldn't anything. clicked on "save" nothing, cancel. logged out , tried log in , that's when loop happened.

the weird thing changed prior happening changed ssl settings none entire website. saved it. reloaded page, went configuration , changed none. went article mentioned , couldn't squat. don't know if did or not.

anyway, that's problem, can't fix it, need help. please don't yell @ me being dumb..

what browser use? empty browser cache?
could try login different browser?

could use ftp download configuration.php see if ssl disabled again?
