Huge joomla 2.5 load! - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have clean 2.5 install, , no articles imported third-party extension.

i've tested #__assets, , result is:

is there other asset parent_id of 0? if no if yes bad

asset table: no   
category table: no
is there category without asset in asset table? if yes bad, if no good


com_banners: 0   
com_contact: 0   
com_content: 0   
com_newsfeeds: 0   
com_users.notes: 0   
com_weblinks: 0   
is there article without asset in asset table? if yes bad, if no good

is there category asset level of < 2? if yes, bad, if no good


com_banners: no   
com_contact: no   
com_content: no   
com_newsfeeds: no   
com_users.notes: no   
com_weblinks: no   
is there article has asset level of < 3? if yes bad, if no good

is there article has parent_id not correspond category? if yes bad, if no good

so, guess, not assets table issue. dedicated server quite powerful resources.

the site has 1-2 sec load (which again not fast, lets presume good), , sudden, load goes 5, 7, 10 seconds, no particular reason.

the cache on, , gzip also.

any ideas, happening 2.5 slowness? sure mysql query issue, how can find causing it?

there many posts 2.5 huge page load, , narrows assets table fix. , again, not issue site. please, other ideas?

1-2 sec around norm site. if site empty doesn't mean under second. depends hugely on host.

use webpagetest.org , let see report. test location location. able see whats happening in timeline , see whats going on. suspect long bite time indicate host.
