Pixel Radius in Mask Area in the Properties Panel

hello there!

i have layer vector mask.

when go properties panel, enter feather radius „0.5“ , hit enter key rounds 1 (pixels).

entering „0.4“ , hitting enter gives 0.

4.3 gives 4

4.6 gives 5 , on.

so hitting enter rounds value, although decimal values accepted , do work. why that? what's purpose of rounding number?

when enter „0.5“ , click somewhere works without changing 1. it's 0.5 px. hitting enter (the natural thing after entering value) rounds it.

is feature or flaw?

thank you

sebastian

hm, hadn't noticed before, i can confirm you're reporting.  worse yet, layer mask doesn't take on rounded value (it's left @ whatever fractional value in field before hitting return).

i can't imagine that's feature.  edit controls don't work way in general.

i think @ adobe must have missed removing rounding logic in edit control when made function capable of handling fractional values.
