required to install an upgrade?


the faq isn't clear:

 

i creative cloud member using cs6 applications included in membership. lose access cs6 when cs7 becomes available in creative cloud?

no, if have downloaded , installed cs6 versions of applications, continue have access them without interruption long membership remains active. when cs7 versions become available, have year download , install them , run on machine along cs6 versions

 

when upgrade subscription product becomes available, required install it?

no. not required install new version of subscription software, , have great deal of flexibility on when install upgrade, should choose so. can continue using current version of product @ least 1 full year after subsequent version released.

 

 

so can use cs6 indefinitely? , able install cs7 1 year after it's release, can continue use cs6?

 

or required install cs7 within 1 year of it's release because cs6 no longer functional?

yes, long maintain active membership started when cs6 available. versions (starting cs6) available when signed continue available 5 years (after removed option install) continue work if installed.

 

and able install cs7 1 year after it's release, can continue use cs6?

 

if maintained creative cloud membership started when cs6 available, use both versions. customers sign-up membership after cs7 launches have access cs7 versions.

 

or required install cs7 within 1 year of it's release because cs6 no longer functional

 

whatever versions available when signed continue available install 5 years going forward, same new versions released. installed versions continue work long maintain subscription.
