Thread: bbcode showing in editor

in last approximately 24 hours whenever respond post noting bbcode showing in editor. background colour of editor no longer white bluish grey colour.

example pretty trivial shows problem clearly. in 1 support thread rather hassling have quotation marks changed , posted - &quote; -. have put dashes in replace quotes here , had re-edit post 5 or 6 times them take.

tried changing editor type in usercp options no avail, still have problem now.

wondering if have problem install / firefox or whether problem may server based. else noticing ?

edit: more info, ubuntuforums.org , yahooapis.com not blocked re scripting (noscript) , use opendns.com domain name resolution if may matter here.

hi. screenshot shows looks standard editor. if go user cp -> edit options -> miscellaneous options -> message editor, 3 choices: basic editor, standard editor , enhanced interface. working me expected in firefox 5 in natty. in standard , enhanced can use icon in top right of message box toggle between 2 modes. can see icon in screenshot. work you?

i've seen &quote , similar in other posts in past , have been puzzled how appear. i've tried selecting different editor modes , cannot reproduce this. wonder if there problem browser settings. goodness knows - sorry.
