Thread: HP Photosmart 7760 issues

i built new computer running ubuntu few months , enjoying experience more windows. however, have never been able printer working right. installed hplip package , according linuxprinting.org should run perfectly.

running natty on amd zacate/asus motherboard , printer hp photosmart 7760.

can print if have printer unplugged, turn on computer, plug printer in, , turn printer on. after 1 document prints i'm done , have reboot print more. if leave computer on while , printer goes sleep, not wake when print. as hate memory resident programs, installed hplip gui try , sort out. prettier error messages, can't print test page.

on related note, know how panasonic panafax dx-1000 network laser printer working? it's ancient , information on seems have dropped off internet.

when install hplip package hplip-gui. have 8250 photosmart , work linux. i've been using past 7 years without problem. having problems printer until started using hplip-gui.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
