Thread: SSH freeze when UFW is enabled

hey guys,
have small ubuntu 10.10 server , noticed weird behavior (not sure if happening before). if have ufw enabled (with default deny in, allow out, allow http, allow on random port use ssh) when perform actions in ssh sesion, ssh console freezes. server continues work , if close console can start ssh session. happens no matter log in (tried ubuntu , mac). actions reproducible, example vim config files (though vim-ing other files works), cat other file, etc. freeze never happens if ufw disabled. idea what's going on?
thanks!
cristian

addition: if you're wondering, yes, have tcpkeepalive on yes , doubt related (it happen ufw disabled too)
