Thread: Unable to run simple programs in Wubi after installing gcc

i beginner of ubuntu.
have installed wubi in machines.
after that, have installed gcc 4.5 , 4.6 respectively using sudo apt-get.

sudo apt-get install gcc 4.5/ 4.6
sudo apt-get install gfortran

also, have installed csh , tcsh.

sudo apt-get install csh
sudo apt-get install tcsh

now, problem cannot run simple hello_world program saved on desktop.

gfortran hello_world.f95 -o hello_world
hello_world

gfortran can compile code executable file, typing hello_world in terminal cannot run program. said "file not found."

there other problems cant use locate files. because have installed wrong version of since wubi i686?
