uploading an epub to different platforms

my question is, want upload book amazon , ibooks.  can create correct layouts these platforms (ipad h/v , kindle h/v) using alternate layouts.  right i've completed ipad version.  should able upload ibooks.  if want version kindle, have duplicate document , format separate layout kindle, or can add kindle layout existing document?  have option, uploading online stores?  single document 4 layouts - ipad h/v & kindle h/v work both, or should 2 separate documents?

i think you're confusing features required creating digital publications , need more study.

 

if want upload book ibooks, need learn create epub file. can't alternate layouts feature. when epub file created (by choosing file > export > epub) of appearance of indesign file disappears. appearance determined css , html exported in epub file. there series of things need learn make text ready epub; learning how format graphics; setting paragraph, character , objects styles , learning how map them html;  learning how create table of contents in right format; learning correct settings use in epub export dialog; etc.

 

it may require editing css in editor achieve required appearance.

 

amazon kindle uses different format referred mobi or kindle format. has many similarities epub, requires kind of conversion. many epub publishers use utility amazon called kindle previewer convert epub files kindle format. again, has absolutely nothing using alternate layouts feature.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
