Adobe Premiere CS 5.5 freezes and lags on a 1hour 45 minute video.

i'm running quad core 2.7 ghz imac 32 gigs of ram 1 gb graphics card , 500 gb of free space on 7200 rpm hard drive.

 

whenever load 1 hour , 45 min. video (it's videogame play) go sync audio external audio source , premier freaks out... locks let me scroll through timeline nothing , after 5 or 7 min. unfreeze allow me play if make adjustment timeline again lockup , beach ball of death , activity monitor says premier not responding.

 

now tried shrinking video down instead of having whole 1 hour 45 min. in timeline pulling down 20 min. still same thing , time i'm working project if had preview window doesn't load while.

 

i don't know it's super annoying reformatted mac open premiere not a.k.a. piece of crap when comes long video clips blow.

 

one last thing seems add super long 1 hour plus video project project a.k.a. clips , subsequences seem laggy maybe i'm tripping on point.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
