adobe reader x, and win7, sha-1 instead of sha-256

good afternoon,

i have problem similar posted @

http://forums.adobe.com/message/3707345

i try sign pdf (enable signing adobe livecycle es, right managements)

but signed hash algorithm sha-1

the hardware vendor of smartcard, says problem adobe problem, because signing file legacy software works fine, , software digest sha-256 (but produced file not signed pdf..)

for italian law supported digest sha-256, , not sha-1

i'm using latest adobe reader version (10.1) , win7

p.s.: adobe livecycle, enabling pdf signing livecycle right management service, put sign adobe certificate , returns pdf ready signed, , in pdf adobe sign sha-1

could problem?

so, before signing pdf contains adobe sha-1 sign (coming livecycle web service)

with regards

the default signing algo. has been sha-256 since 9.1. see sig creation quick key @ http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_acr_security_en.

i'm unclear workflow. can send specific steps 1, 2, 3 name , version of involved components?

ben
