Cannot edit some articles or categories - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i've logged site's admin after while remove jvotes plugin/component/module or whatever , see can't modify articles or categories , seem have same problem creating new categories well.

when click on link existing article blank page large rectangular box across top of page contains 4 item bulleted list on left-hand side. first 2 fields: title, alias, next 1 bullet , last 1 says parent.

it seems can edit of articles every once in while same blank page page comes up.

i've tried search forums haven't found yet seems similar.
