Dreamweaver reports file "not found" when attempting to open files from SMB server...
user's work-files hosted on windows server 2003 sp2 volume accessed via smb. she's been opening , saving files server in dreamweaver years other macs running dreamweaver cs4.
now has imac running 10.7.4 , dreamweaver cs6... , it's not smb problem you'd expect.
she mounts server volume. opens , saves files full r/w permissions app... except dreamweaver. file attempts open in dreamweaver -- whether finder or within dreamweaver -- dreamweaver pops alert reporting file @ file-path was not found. same file accessible other apps , finder. continues have full read/write access shared volume.
local copies of files not have problem. affects files hosted on server , happens in dreamweaver.
so, create new user account , works fine... user mounts sharepoint, opens file dreamweaver... normal. quits dreamweaver , relaunches it... everything's fine. repeatedly. works normally. quits dreamweaver , unmounts share, mounts share again , tries open file in dreamweaver again... , reports file not found.
this reproducible: if server volume has been mounted , unmounted repeatedly under user account, triggers error continues occurring under user account point on. restart not fix it. safe-boot not fix it. (in fact, restarting seems trigger problem unmounting volume.)
i tried trashing entire contents of ~/library folder in 1 of test-user accounts. doesn't fix problem. once strikes user account, temporary fix seems using new user account. , that's ticking time bomb waiting problem pop again.
any ideas?
tia!!
