How to remove all layout / style for only some Article page? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi
could 1 please following situation?

we trying achieve following:
for one(or more) particular article, want article page have independent laytout , different main site.

i have tried alternative layout creating, editing , using file:
/joomla/templates/mytemplate/html/com_content/article/mylayout.php
but able change contents in article area, header, footer , side colums still there.


we want whole article page display html put in article (in article manager).
i.e. 1 article page used promotion purpose own theme , overall content.
but other article pages should display usual (with header, footer , side colums)
is possible?

i can edit out layout , styles joomla/templates/mytemplate/index.php
but affects pages including home page.
we want article pages lose layout , style.

please have @ screenshot , see if making sense
could 1 give direction how can achieved?

probably create plain vanilla template , assign menu item points article want show in plain text.

the extension such blank template (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/tools/design-tools/18381) of in creating blank template.
