IS Indesign the best for me (or Publisher)

hi,

i working company , have design few procut data sheets, broshures , whole product catalouge.

i take indesign because famous , "the standard" these topics.

but expensive. have experience program.  have questions you. thank lot answering questions:

1.) other members of company use microsoft publisher (they usw microsoft that's no disadvantage)

are there advantages m publisher not able do?

i don't need any  3d or special stuff. topics above.

2.) want create single sheets. these sheets should able combine in whole document.

is possible these "books"?

is possible easy create table of content? automatically? index changing if number of pages or size of documents change?

is possible link inside pdf document users can jump table of content specific chapter clicking?

3.) how should structure have been done?

do need 2 versions each file? 1 printing , 1 pdf viewing on computers?? or possible create one?

also different languages. recommend use laysers thing?

or not (because of idea of creating easy catalouge.) need 2 versions. make sense combine in 1 single file?

the catalouge has switched otherwise in every single paper. isn't it?

are there other tips , comments?

maybe use differnt approach or designing idea?

thanks lot helping me!

  1. microsoft publisher entry level program. there plenty of advantages indesign has on mp, in regards creating tighter more professional looking layouts. though indesgin better product, have hard time convincing else, unelss can put time downlaoding demo , learning how use indesign.
  2. anyone can figure out how table of contents, not can figure out jsut pulling down menu, have little reading , testing.
  3. yes need 2 files, 1 native program(mp or indesign), , other .pdf viewing on computer not have mp or indesign.
