Looking for a code documentation extension - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i need create website code documentation application has lua scripting feature built it. application has great features on it's own, built in scripting allows user of myself, expand adding new tools , features can design specific purposes.

what i'm looking "similar" natural docs, doxygen or phpdocs in "appearence" , functionality used joomla , not require generating static html other document generators. lua reference application not excessively large. comparison examples of generated code documentation small. not include lua documentation can found elsewhere, reference specific applications lua functionality , usage. prefer use joomla seems simpler people edit , contribute additional resources reference, scripting examples , proper syntax etc.

i looked using mediwiki whole thing, it's not "simple" hang of , doesn't "feel" straight forward create simple logical navigation , search system categories of documentation required. quite frankly think learning mediawiki trouble learning joomla in opinion doesn't have simple navigation finding need. know joomla uses mediawiki or close own documentation think overkill project. not "pro" programmer. have nothing lua code used in application, use built in scripting extend application.

i have looked @ several code documentation generators natural docs, seem "wrap" pretty html around text files or code references , generate static html. possible solution prefer "online" , "in database" , edited, updated, modified within joomla acl cms type way. other systems have own menu systems , aren't "flexible" expansion joomla.

i hoping there component or or extension accomplish this.
