Thread: 11.04 installation alongside win7

hello,

i've been dual booting ubuntu , winxp few years , ubuntu installation in machines has been matter of few clicks, ubuntu recognizing current xp installation , offering repartition disk have both oss coexist.

bought new laptop (hp dv6t, win7 x64) , while trying install ubuntu 11.04, installer informed me have rid of win7 install new os.

happened friendly installer? there still easy way set dual boot in system in win7 present , installation cd not available?

help.

i open computer manager (start> right click computer> manage> disk management) , shrink partition (to whatever need ubuntu, 20gb), run cd , install newly created partition (the 1 made shrinking).

did same on pc (win7 64, 11.04 64) , works well.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
