Thread: Grub showing Debian planet image in background

okay, ran issues oneiric testing today, reinstalled natty clean. re-installed favorite packages , dev tools (about 800mb+ of them), rebooted....

, quite surprised greeted grub login screen showing debian name in bottom right, planet @ bottom. i'm quite familiar debian vms... had never seen on main system before.

have *any* idea packages have installed/removed caused grub revert behavior? has happened else?

works fine... it's not @ expected i've installed natty @ least 4 times in previous testing , never seen behavior.

update: not really solved, still have no idea why grub happened show debian background, dumped image in grub directory , ran update replace background own. so, i'm done wondering @ point.

i got after installing ntfs-config

removed , boot went normal.
