Thread: My Wifi Connection gets corrupted after a certain software installation

ubuntu 11.04 32bit
tp-link tl-wn821n listed here supported using ar9170usb driver.

i've done 4 fresh reinstalls , each time after specific step following this guide wireless connection gets corrupted , not want work.

last time did changes in small steps can catch offending 1 , after i've executed code below , restarted system wifi went haywire:

cd ~
sudo apt-get install dkms
wget http://www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/at...x86.x86_64.run
sudo sh ati-driver-installer-11-5-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg ubuntu/natty
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo aticonfig -f --initial --adapter=all
sudo reboot
up until point working fine , remotely managing desktop using windows vnc viewer , ubuntu remote desktop.

dkms (whatever is) causing problems? need install other software work not mentioned in other bitcoin mining guides?

i stress out connection configured , 100% of - said it working charm until point of executing commands above , restarting.

suggestions last 3 days have been nightmare trying figure out what's wrong after each fresh installation.

p.s - guide says execute sudo aptitude install dkms guess aptitude package not installed ran sudo apt-get install dkms instead. if makes difference?

well after yet fresh installation did not install dkms packkage, proceeded straight installing video card driver using command ( downloaded first):

sudo sh ati-driver-installer-11-3-x86.x86_64.run
it installed after first reboot wifi connection got corrupted/down.

here logs: http://paste.ubuntu.com/633324/

please appreciated.
