Thread: uswsusp s2ram works, how can I use it for the suspend option in the menu ?

i found info on forums guess previous versions of ubuntu. have 11.04 natty.
, there no script
/usr/lib/hal/scripts/linux/hal-system-power-suspend-linux

thanks
thanks.

edit: found : /usr/sbin/pm-suspend

according documentation, should able edit (create if doesn't exist) file /etc/pm/config.d/defaults , add file:
code:
sleep_module="uswsusp"
, if need force or use options, need add:
code:
s2ram_opts="--force -<option1> -<option2>"
then reboot , test.

other, less desirable option, replace /usr/sbin/pm-suspend script own script calls s2ram.
